Cypriol
Extracted from the rhizome of an Indian grass (Cyperus scariosus), cypriol — or nagarmotha — develops a smoky, slightly leathery woody note, with accents of dry earth. It brings depth to woody bases and often serves as a vegetal alternative to oud.
