4. Purpose of the Site

Olfact is a platform dedicated to discovering and understanding perfume: scent families, notes, pyramids, perfume pages, guides and a guidance questionnaire.

The recommendations produced by the questionnaire rely solely on the answers provided by the user. They are purely informative and educational and in no way constitute commercial, medical or professional advice. Olfact does not sell any perfume.

5. Intellectual property

All elements created for the Site (editorial texts, descriptions, layout, visual identity, the Olfact logo, source code and database) are protected by intellectual property law and remain the exclusive property of the publisher.

Any reproduction, representation, modification or distribution, in whole or in part, without prior written authorisation is prohibited.

6. Trademarks and third-party rights

The names of brands, perfume houses and products, as well as the fragrance descriptions mentioned on the Site, are cited for information and identification purposes. These trademarks and their associated elements remain the property of their respective owners.

Olfact is an independent site, not affiliated with, partnered with or sponsored by the brands it mentions. Any house wishing to request a correction or removal may contact us at the address above.

7. Hyperlinks and prices

The Site may contain links to third-party sites (retailers, partners). Olfact has no control over these sites and accepts no responsibility for their content or practices.

The English pages carry no affiliate links and no purchase buttons. Prices that may appear on them are indicative, in euros, taken from French retailers, and are given for information only.

8. Personal data and cookies

The processing of personal data is detailed in our privacy policy, drafted in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French “Informatique et Libertés” act.

9. Limitation of liability

The publisher endeavours to ensure the accuracy of the information published, but cannot guarantee the absence of errors or omissions. Information (prices, availability, compositions) is indicative and may change.

The publisher cannot be held liable for direct or indirect damage resulting from access to or use of the Site, nor for any temporary unavailability (maintenance, update, technical incident).
